Daily details in brief

Day 1-3 Arrive Beijing. Over the next few days there will be ample opportunity to explore and photograph the diversity of this great city - from the traditional hutongs and street markets to the ultra-modern shopping streets; the vast expanses of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Day 4-5 Xian. Discover the Terracotta Warriors, one of China’s greatest archaeological treasures and enjoy some of the best market food in the country. Day 6 Chengdu. See the giant pandas up close, but in a relatively natural environment. Day 7 Leshan and Mt Emei. Marvel at the world's biggest stone Buddha before exploring Mt Emei, one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains of China. Days 8-9 Yangshuo. Surrounded by spectacular limestone karst hills and green rice paddies. Day 10-11 Shanghai with Suzhou/Zhouzhuang Canal town. Get a glimpse of Chinese classical history in Suzhou and explore the network of canals and stone bridges in any of Shanghai's nearby water towns. Day 12 Enjoy the day at your leisure, until transfer to the airport.
