Day 3 Your personal guide/chef Lotus will begin your day with a lecture on the four regional cuisines. Afternoon half-day private city tour. Day 4 Morning market chef’s tour. Transfer and flight to Chengdu. Afternoon you will have an overview of Sichuanese cuisine and an introduction to the Sichuan pepper. Day 5 Chef’s tour. Lunch at one of the Chef’s favorite local restaurants. Afternoon at leisure. Day 6 Full day of cooking and learning. Day 7 Transfer and flight to Hangzhou. Afternoon at leisure. Day 8 Full day city tour. Day 9 Transfer to Shanghai. Afternoon at leisure. Day 10 For breakfast you will hit the streets for one of the best steamed/fried dumpling dives in town. Your day will continue with a tour where you will see the old and new world versions of this amazing city. Day 11 Free at leisure. Day 12 Depart Shanghai.
